Privacy

What we collect from customers

• The photo you send and any note you add.
• Your location (from your phone, or the pin you place), only to find shops near you.
• Which buttons you tap on the results page (Directions, Call, WhatsApp), to know if the service helped.
• Your IP address, briefly, to stop spam and abuse.

We do not ask for your name, phone number or an account. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who sees what

• Nearby shops receive your photo and note on WhatsApp. They do not receive your location or any contact details.
• You see the name, address, price and phone number only of shops that said they have the item.
• Our team can see requests to help shops reply (for example by phone) and to fix problems.

Shopkeepers

With your consent when you join, we store your shop name, owner name, WhatsApp number, address and shop location, and your replies to requests. Your number is shown to a customer only after you reply “Haan, hai”. You can ask to stop receiving requests or to be removed at any time.

How long we keep it

• Photos are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Request details (without the photo) are kept to measure and improve the service.
• Rate-limit records (IP address) expire within minutes.

Where it is stored and who helps us

Data is stored in India (Amazon Web Services, Mumbai). Photos are stored with Cloudflare. Messages to shops go through WhatsApp (Meta). We use Sentry to find app errors; error reports do not include your photo or location. These providers process data only on our instructions.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can raise a complaint. Because we don’t collect your name or number, please share the link of your request (it looks like /r/…) so we can find it.
